LASH ENHANCEMENT TATTOOS & EYELINER TATTOOS

Your first session will take anywhere from 1-2 hours and will be applied to the lash line area. Refraining from caffeine or any other stimulates is highly suggested for this service to prevent eye fluttering and restlessness. The calmer, the better. You will be numbed on the eye area prior to starting, as well as during.

This is a 1-3 appointment process, most commonly only two appointments. Everyone accepts pigment differently and 8/10 times two appointments are enough. However in more rare cases, for ultra sensitive clients, sometimes a third appointment is needed. Appointments are done 4-8 weeks apart.

You will have a choice of what color you prefer for your liner. Most choose black, however you can always choose a softer color such as chocolate or dark brown. You will also have a choice on thickness. I do not personally recommend thick liner above lash line- this is because your eyelid area is ultra thin and sensitive. Lash liner is done within the lash area, where eyeliner is done above the lash line into the eyelid. With aging and time, eyeliner has higher risks for the pigment to spread and discolor, especially when done thick. Typically, people will take lashline pigment treatments better than they will take eyeliner pigment treatments. I also do not do “winged” liner- as this does not age well with time. Eyeliner services are much more permanent than brow and lash liner services so it is more of a lifetime dedication. Typically, lash line touch ups are done every 2-4 years depending on the client and personal preference.

*If you wear glasses or contacts:

Do not wear contacts to your appointment- if you have to, please bring your contact case so that you can take them out prior to service. It is recommended that you wear glasses instead of contact while dealing with healing and aftercare... however, you may still wear contacts but it is important to know that your ointment can get on the contacts and cause blurriness. Feel free to experiment and see what works best for you!

What to expect after your first appointment

Believe it or not, the healing and downtime for this is fairly simple! Our eyes are self cleansing and heal very quickly. Pigment color will be BOLD while fresh. Starting anywhere from 2-5 days after, pigment will fade and the eye area will feel dry and tight for a few days- maybe even a little itchy. Pigment will fade much more overall after your first round than it will after your second. The skin needs to toughen up in order to fully take pigment, and will toughen after the first session being more ready to accept pigment at your second. Depending on sensitivity, your eye area can be red and/or swollen and appear to be mildly bruised. In most cases- this only last up to 48 hours. Pain after appointment is minimal but can feel a little sore.

Aftercare: You are provided with a bottle of cleanser, soft gauze wipes, aquaphor ointment, microswabs for ointment application and 2-4 use eye drops. No makeup and no products other than your provided aftercare should be used on the serviced area for 10 days. Night one and morning one- use eye drops. You may continue to use gentle eye drops whenever you feel needed- but you are provided with 2-4 uses of drops by me. Use cleanser with gauze wipes provided by me every morning and evening to softly cleanse the eye area for 5 days. After wiping the eye area- use micro swab to apply ointment to the treated area. It is safe to get ointment near and over entire eye area, but can create subtle blurriness so please be cautious to the amount you use and what works best for you. I personally apply vaseline to my whole eye area all of the time due to chronic dry eyes and never have an issue. While washing entire face, try and avoid eye area as best as you can- including in the shower. Before showering- apply ointment to eye area to create a barrier from soap and water. After shower, softly wipe eye area and apply thin layer of ointment to the treated area.  After 5 days, you may use a gentle soft cleanser but please be gentle and extra aware for the full 10 days. Also, ointment is to be used for full 10 days. Use sunglasses when in contact with sunlight.

*I do not do both top and bottom eyeliner tattoos on the same day due to swelling and irritation. It is too much on the eye area to have both done at once.
