Technique

After my first year of Microblading, I really learned what works and what does not. Of course I look at other Brow Artists work, continue to educate myself and pick up new techniques constantly. However- my Microblading technique and style is very natural. I do not follow patterns which I believe makes the brows look more natural. Brows are sisters not twins! This service lasts 1-2 years and requires 12-18 month touch ups. This method is known as the " natural hair stroke" effect. Everyone holds pigment different due to skin type and age so not everyones hair strokes are going to look the same. OILY SKIN is a major factor to consider. If your skin produces a lot of oil, your strokes are more likely to "bleed" a bit more, as well as fade sooner opposed to someone with normal-dry skin.

Shaded brows also known as Powder, is another natural semi-permanent brow service I do. This look creates a beautiful and natural looking "powder" shading effect. Almost as if the brows are lightly filled in with powder. This style is GREAT for those with oily skin, clients who like a precise "fleek brow" shape, those with very minimal-no hair or clients with very light colored hair. This method is also what is used for people who are wanting the "ombre brow". Softap brows typically last about 6mo- 2 years longer than microblading and requires 1-2 year touchups as well.

Microblading can be combined with Shading as well for a small extra charge of $25 dollars. Also known as a "Combo Brow". You also have the option of choosing one service for your first appointment, and then adding on the other at your second 4-6 week touch up once you see how they heal.

It is important to know that this choice ultimately comes down to your personal preference. I would suggest doing your research and reviewing my work to see what style you think would be best for you. Both Microblading and Powder Brows are amazing semi-permanent eyebrow options to help save time, add youth to your face and feel beautiful. Both Microblading and Powder brows require a second 4-6 week touchup appointment.
